Which is best? Will it sew thick fabric?

I had to order a replacement machine at very short notice. Cannot fault speed of delivery, received within 2 days. Brilliant. Nice simple machine to use. I mainly require a machine for repairs and occasionally I make curtains and blinds. Agree with other comments that its a nice straightforward machine to operate. Also, it being a lightweight machine does not detract from its capability and as also said before, deals with thicker fabrics very well. Early days, but so far , a very good machine and for an excellent price.

Excellent sewing machine does all that it says it does. My only issue is you cannot leave the cotton on when using the case/cover.

I love my machine. It's so easy to use. I would call myself a beginner but I had no trouble working with it from the first moment I took it out. I didn't even need the instructions although they are very extensive and very informative - I learned more things than I expected. Overall a great machine and I am very pleased with my purchase.

The service was great. Ordered machine 24/8/11 and it arrived first thing on 25/8/11. When I rang to ask a few questions about this machine, I was given the answers I needed politely. Although I have only used it briefly, the machine seems great to me and the instructions are clear. Lovely machine, easy to use can't fault the machine or the service from Sewing Machine Sales. Little bit put out as down in price by £20 few days after I purchased but that's the way it goes.

This has been the best sewing machine I've owned; previously I had a Singer. The MyStyle 22 is reliable, versatile and easy to use. The build quality of Janome machines is second to none. I've just upgraded to a Janome 4900QC and passed the MyStyle22 to my daughter (she's thrilled to bits!) It has many, many years of working life in it.

I have been pleased with this machine for the short time I've owned it. However, in trying to make buttonholes using the buttonhole attachment, I must be doing something wrong. I cannot get the machine to move forward. It just stays in one place and sews back and forth. I have gone over the instructions on pp. 20-21 of the instruction book for two days. I'm getting no where. Please help! [STAFF - please call us, we can quickly resolve your issue you over the phone.]

Bought this machine in 1996. Have used it regularly since, has never needed servicing, has never broken down, it just keeps going. Great buy for the at-home-hobby-seamstress type person. Strong, easy handeling and no computer thats the machine for me.

My purchase arrived in good time and is a lovely machine. I haven't used this much yet as I am awaiting my first pattern but have experimented and am very impressed so far! Very easy to use and booklet that accompanies this machine is very easy to understand. I can't wait to use it to it's full potential!

I bought this machine for my wife, she loves it first computerised machine she has used in fact she has'nt used a sewing machine at all for years. It all came back to her easily and the machine was very intuitive, great product. On a personel note i ordered the machine on wednesday afternoon it arrived friday lunch time with dispatch notification and full tracking information online, did not debit my account until two days after the machine arrived. So to summerise, great product great service very happy keep up the good work would be very confident to deal with you in the future.
