Which is best? Will it sew thick fabric?

Very pleased with both the machine and service from Sewing Machine Sales. In my opinion this is the best all round sewing machine in this price bracket and holds up well compared to pricier machines. I purchased this as my Brother had to go away for repairs when I was in the middle of a soft furnishing project. I am now in no hurry for my Brother to come back, this is handling everything really well. I ordered this machine very late in the evening on a weekend, it was dispatched on Monday and received on Tuesday. The clincher for me was the fact that I was not charged additional postage due to my being off the mainland, something almost all other suppliers take advantage of. I would heartily recommend both this machine and this company and will certainly return here whenever I am looking for sewing supplies. Next on my list is a new dress form :)

Excellent little machine. Lightweight to carry to classes but still feels robust, does an excellent stitch and is very easy to use. Highly recommend.

Having had this beautiful machine for around 4 months now I can't sing it's praises highly enough. I have a combination embroidery/sewing machine too but this one has very large hoops so I now have the best of both worlds. Stitch quality is fabulous, using the control panel is very intuitive, it holds your hands as you go through the embroidery process. In The Hoop designs are a breeze. Fab machine with great service from SMS.Recommend.

First class service arrived next day delivery . I must confess I have never used a sewing machine before. I looked up reviews on the singer talent sewing machine it really is so easy to set up and use. It really is a nice looking machine and deserve 5 star rating along with the supplier. great to get the free sewing pack all this at a bargain price.

I'm finding this a lovely machine to use as a replacement for a very basic old Singer that I'd had for years. It is smooth and easy to use and has reasonably good instructions too. The needle threader had me foxed for a while because the instructions seem to overcomplicate it, but I soon got the hang of it. The range of different stitches is great and the instructions helpfully describe the best uses for each one. I really like the drop in clear bobbin with a clear top cover so that you can see exactly how low the bobbin thread is; it makes life so much easier than having the bobbin hidden away from sight and liable to run out of thread at the most inconvenient moments. The machine is let down a little by the dreadful flimsy plastic cover that it is supplied with - I'm really not sure why Singer provide this at all, because it is all but useless to protect the machine and it is a shame that a machine of this quality doesn't come with a good quality protective case. I bought a proper bag for the machine as soon as I saw it, so as long as you accept that you'd need to buy your own bag for it, it's not a problem. Overall, the machine is a pleasure to use.

My daughter loves the Silver 9500e I bought her for her birthday. She has only had it a week and has already completed several projects. She is a beginner at sewing but finds the sewing machine very easy to use. She Loves it. A wonderfully versatile machine. I do a lot of sewing and patchwork/quilting including free motion and it runs beautifully with very even stitches even when doing the free motion. You will need the straight stitch plate and also having the quilt table will make your quilt items easier to handle. Easy to maintain with good access to the bobbin area to remove the lint build-up. The feet are easy to change and the IDT just drops down behind the feet. This is a great accessory if you are doing bridal or heirloom sewing like I do as it means greater fabric control on those high sheen or sheer fabrics. Great buttonhole facility with lots to choose from and very quick to complete. Scissors, start/stop and needle threading are also a must for any quilter.

Delivered promptly. Delighted with sewing machine. Easy set up and great variety of stitches, plain and decorative. Straight forward to use, having not used a machine for many years. This was a retirement gift and I am looking forward to whiling away many pleasurable hours creating all sorts. Free gift, super machine!
